Sport watches are a specialty at Luminox. Their US Navy SEAL Dive watches are designed in conjunction with, and supplied to, the SEAL teams. This style is also available in a Ladies (3/4 Size) Dive watch. The new Steel Seal Dive watch featuring a steel case and carbon fiber bezel is available with either a solid link stainless steel bracelet or an Italian rubber dive strap.
Luminox also offers dress and field watches - the latter designed with crown protectors built into their cases. Styles include Captain's Dress Field and Dress watches and are available with supple, padded leather straps or solid link stainless steel bracelet with security clasp. The Captain's Field Watch features a textured bezel. The New Sport Field series features the Luminox illumination system.
Watch Maintenance
Buying a watch is often an important investment, so understanding each aspect of your Luminox watch is equally important.
About every three years, you should have your watch cleaned and serviced. For automatic watches, you'll need your battery changed, and for mechanical watches, you should have all the moving parts inspected and cleaned. For Luminox watches with water resistant seals, you should have the resistance checked annually using pressure equipment, and the seals should be changed as well. As far as care, you should always check the case and bracelet for wear if you expose them to chemicals or harsh environments. Cosmetics and perfume can also damage these components, as well as the rest of the watch.
